When you fill in an ORTHYNE sign-up form on this website we collect your email address (required) and, if you choose to give them, your company name, country and sector, plus your privacy consent. The form also records the link you arrived from (for example "linkedin", taken from the utm_source/utm_content parameters of the link, or "direct"), so we know which channel works. We do not ask for any other data.
Free account (Radar and Kit). If you create a free account we collect your email address and, only if you enter them, your profile (who you are, for example company, association or private individual; the name of your company, association or body; the countries and the region you are interested in; your keywords) and the calls you save. At each sign-in the IP address and browser details are logged for security. We do not ask for tax codes, documents or payment data.
Only two purposes: (1) to send you the ORTHYNE news by email you asked for, that is, occasional emails about new ORTHYNE sources, features and free tools (you can unsubscribe at any time from any email or by writing to hello@orthyne.com); (2) aggregated market research, to understand which countries and sectors to cover first. No advertising, no sale of data, no sharing with third parties for their own purposes.
If you signed up before 19 October 2026, you agreed only to a weekly tender digest, which is not active: we will not send you ORTHYNE news unless you sign up again. We keep your details only to honour that earlier choice, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.
For the free account, the only purpose is to provide it: sign-in links by email, keeping your profile and saved calls, and preparing Radar searches from your profile.

This website uses no tracking cookies, no analytics scripts and no external web fonts of its own; the only third-party content, the TradingView live markets widget, loads only if you ask for it (see Live markets). The Radar, Kit and home pages load public data files (lists of open calls and Kit rules, no personal data) from Supabase Storage. The storage is located in the European Union (Frankfurt, region eu-central-1) and is delivered through the Supabase content delivery network, operated with Cloudflare. As with any web request, Supabase receives your IP address and browser details to deliver the file; we send it no other data about you and it sets no cookies on this website. Supabase Inc. is based in the United States: any transfer outside the EU relies on the safeguards of GDPR Chapter V (EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses) set out in its data processing agreement.
If you sign in to the free account, the page keeps your session in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) so you stay signed in; it is strictly necessary for the account and is removed when you sign out or delete the account.
To adapt the language and content of the site to where you are, our hosting provider Netlify derives your country from your IP address for that request only; the country is not stored on our servers and no external service is used. If that is not available, the country is estimated from your device's time zone setting, computed on your device only. Your browser keeps the two-letter country code, and whether it came from Netlify or from the time zone, in session storage for the current visit only, and your language choice, if you make one, in local storage. The country is used inside your browser to choose the language and to bring opportunities from your country to the top; it is not added to requests for opportunity data unless you choose a country filter yourself.
The "Live markets" section on the home page and its short version in ORTHYNE Connect show prices supplied by TradingView, Inc. (United States) through its official widget. The widget is not loaded automatically: it loads only after you press "Show live markets", and your browser keeps that choice in local storage so the widget loads directly on later visits (you can undo it with the "Hide" button). Once loaded, the widget runs inside a TradingView frame: TradingView receives your IP address and browser details and may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy (tradingview.com/privacy-policy). ORTHYNE and TradingView are jointly responsible for loading the widget; TradingView alone is responsible for any further processing. "Hide" stops the widget from loading but does not delete cookies TradingView has already set: you can delete them in your browser settings. We send TradingView no other data about you. Prices are for information only, not financial advice; some exchanges deliver share prices with a delay, which the widget marks.

The trading simulator works with virtual money only (EUR 50,000). To show prices, your browser downloads them directly from two public services when you open the page and, for crypto, once a minute while it stays open: Frankfurter (api.frankfurter.dev, euro reference rates of the European Central Bank) and Coinbase (api.coinbase.com and api.exchange.coinbase.com, public crypto prices in euros). Each of them therefore receives your IP address and standard browser details, as with any web request, under its own terms. No account data, portfolio data or other data about you is sent. Your virtual portfolio (cash, positions, stop loss and target levels, trades) is kept only in your browser's local storage under the key "orthyne_trading_v2" (the previous currency simulator used "orthyne_trading_v1", no longer read); it is never sent to ORTHYNE; "Start again" resets it, and clearing your browser's site data deletes it. Isabella's advice comes from fixed risk-management rules computed in your browser, not from an AI service; "Listen to Isabella" uses your device's own voice. Prices are for practice only, not financial advice.

Lessons can be read without an account. To take exams and receive an ORTHYNE Diploma you sign in with your ORTHYNE account. We store, linked to your account: the exams you take (module, score, date), the questions served in an exam (question identifiers only, kept for at most 2 days), the live lessons you sign up for and, only if you request a diploma, the name you type, the path, the language and the date. Correct answers are never sent to your browser before you submit. Anyone who enters a diploma's 12-character code on the verification page sees the name, the path and the date of that diploma: you accept this before the diploma is issued. The name is the one you declare; ORTHYNE does not verify identities, and one account uses one name for all its diplomas. The data is kept while your account exists and is deleted with it. The "Listen with Isabella" voice uses the speech engine of your own device: the lesson text is not sent to ORTHYNE.

The Community is available only to signed-in accounts with a confirmed email. In study groups we store, linked to your account: the groups you join, the name you choose for the chat (other members of the group see only that name), the messages you write, and the reports and blocks you make. Messages that contain an email address, a phone number or an external link are refused before they are saved. A message reported by 3 different members is hidden and reviewed by ORTHYNE. You can delete your messages and leave a group at any time; your messages, memberships, reports and blocks are deleted together with your account. Private lessons are one-to-one lessons with Isabella, an AI teacher, available to signed-in accounts with a confirmed email and counted against your plan. During a lesson, your messages and the text of the module are sent to Anthropic PBC (Claude model) to generate Isabella's replies; Anthropic processes them as our processor, does not use them to train its models and keeps them only for the limited period its terms allow (transfer to the United States under GDPR Chapter V, Standard Contractual Clauses). If Isabella's voice is on, the text of her replies is sent to Microsoft Azure AI Speech to be read aloud; if it is off, or after the daily limit, your device's voice is used and nothing is sent. If you use the microphone, speech recognition is performed by your browser's own speech service: in some browsers (for example Chrome and Edge) the audio is sent to the browser provider (Google or Microsoft) under its terms. ORTHYNE does not save the conversation: it stays only in your browser tab and is cleared when the lesson ends. Linked to your account we store only the lesson data: path, module, language, start and end time, number of exchanges, characters read aloud and estimated expense, kept while your account exists. The "Ask me" button opens an assistant powered by an artificial intelligence model (Claude, by Anthropic PBC). It answers using only the public data of this website (Radar and Kit) and it can be wrong: the official call is the only reference. Your questions and the assistant's answers are sent to Anthropic, which processes them as our processor under its commercial terms and data processing addendum, does not use them to train its models and keeps them only for the limited period those terms allow. Anthropic is based in the United States: transfers rely on the safeguards of GDPR Chapter V (Standard Contractual Clauses). We do not store conversations: we keep only question counters. If you are not signed in, a daily counter is linked to a pseudonymous code computed from your IP address and the date with a secret server key (the IP address itself is not stored), and it is deleted at the first request of the following day. If you are signed in, daily and monthly counters are linked to your account: they apply your account's limits, are shown in your account, and are kept while your account exists; they are deleted together with the account. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in offering an assistant you choose to use (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Please do not type personal data into the assistant.

For answers read aloud with Isabella's Italian voice, a daily counter limits use: if you are not signed in it is linked to a pseudonymous code computed from your IP address and the date with a secret server key (the IP address is not stored); if you are signed in, to your account. In other languages, or as a fallback, your device's own voice is used and nothing is sent to us. Microphone: dictation in the chat works only after you activate it and allow the microphone in your browser; the microphone is on only while you dictate. Speech recognition is performed by your browser's own speech service (for example Google in Chrome, Microsoft in Edge, Apple in Safari) under that provider's terms; ORTHYNE receives only the text of a question you decide to send. In ORTHYNE Collection, "Protected purchase" payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland) and its group companies, through Stripe Connect. Card, bank and identity details are entered only on Stripe pages and are never received or stored by ORTHYNE. A seller who activates payments creates a Stripe account and goes through Stripe's identity checks (Stripe is the controller for that data). ORTHYNE stores only what the service needs: the Stripe account reference and its status, and for each order the item, amounts, status, dates, the courier and tracking number entered by the seller, and the delivery name and address given by the buyer at checkout, shown only to that seller. Each order also keeps a copy of the listing as it was at the time of purchase (description, condition, photos and delivery mode), used as evidence if a problem is reported. The delivery name and address are deleted 90 days after the order is closed (completed, refunded or cancelled); the other order data is kept as required by tax and accounting law (generally 10 years in Italy). When you press "Start the valuation" while creating a listing, the photos you select are sent only to Anthropic PBC (Claude), which identifies the item and suggests a title, description and item details. No web search is run on your photos. To suggest a price, our server then looks up only the item identifiers produced by the AI (for example card name, set, number, year, denomination or catalogue number; never the photos and never data about you) in free public catalogues: the Pokémon TCG API (Cardmarket prices) for Pokémon cards, Scryfall for Magic cards, Numista for coins and banknotes ("Source: Numista") and Discogs for records, which we use only to identify the release and link its page ("Data provided by Discogs."). This application uses Discogs' API but is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Discogs. For other items the price is set by you. You always read, change or confirm the suggestion before publishing.
Legal basis: performance of the service you request by pressing the button (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)); nothing is sent until you press it. Anthropic processes the photos as our processor under its commercial terms and data processing addendum: it does not use them to train its models and deletes them automatically within a limited period (generally within 30 days), keeping them longer only where needed to enforce its usage policy for safety reasons or where required by law. If you use it we store, linked to your account, the Connect profile you create (display name and optional introduction, private by default until you choose to make it public), your posts and drafts, comments, reactions ("I'm interested"), the members you follow, the members you block and the reports you send about other members' posts, plus the optional profile type and interests you choose, the area of each post, the photos and videos you upload, posts you save or share and private messages. Connect is for people aged 18 or over. Posts are visible to signed-in members; only the posts for which you choose "also show to people without an account" can be seen by any visitor of orthyne.com, together with your display name and profile type, and may therefore also be read by search engines. You can switch a post back to members only at any time. Comments, follows, messages and profiles are visible to signed-in members only. Photos and videos are stored in a private storage area and shown through temporary links; the link of a photo or video in a post shown to visitors contains a random identifier of your account, so visitors can tell that several such posts come from the same author. Reports are reviewed by our team, which can restrict or remove a post; a record of each decision is kept for accountability. To prevent abuse we keep, for up to 48 hours, a count of the actions you perform. Legal basis: performance of the service you requested (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in keeping the community safe (Art. 6(1)(f)). Data is stored on the same EU servers as your account (Supabase, Frankfurt) and is deleted together with your account.
In italiano: ORTHYNE Connect è l'area community di ORTHYNE, disponibile con lo stesso account gratuito. Se la usi conserviamo, collegati al tuo account, il profilo Connect che crei (nome visualizzato e presentazione facoltativa, privato finché non scegli di renderlo pubblico), i tuoi post e bozze, i commenti, le reazioni ("Mi interessa"), i membri che segui, i membri che blocchi e le segnalazioni che invii sui post di altri membri, oltre al tipo di profilo e agli interessi facoltativi che scegli, all'area di ogni post, alle foto e ai video che carichi, ai post che salvi o condividi e ai messaggi privati. Connect è riservato ai maggiorenni. I post sono visibili ai membri che hanno effettuato l'accesso; solo i post per cui scegli "mostra anche a chi non ha un account" possono essere visti da chiunque visiti orthyne.com, insieme al tuo nome visualizzato e al tipo di profilo, e quindi anche dai motori di ricerca. Puoi riportare un post ai soli membri in qualsiasi momento. Commenti, follow, messaggi e profili restano visibili solo ai membri. Foto e video sono conservati in un'area privata e mostrati con collegamenti temporanei; il collegamento di una foto o di un video in un post mostrato ai visitatori contiene un identificativo casuale del tuo account, quindi i visitatori possono capire che più post di questo tipo vengono dallo stesso autore. Le segnalazioni sono esaminate dal nostro team, che può limitare o rimuovere un post; di ogni decisione resta traccia. Per prevenire abusi conserviamo, per al massimo 48 ore, un conteggio delle azioni che compi. Base giuridica: esecuzione del servizio richiesto (art. 6.1.b GDPR) e legittimo interesse a mantenere sicura la community (art. 6.1.f). I dati sono conservati sugli stessi server UE dell'account (Supabase, Francoforte) e vengono cancellati insieme all'account.
Titolare: vedi sopra. Se crei l'account gratuito raccogliamo l'email e, solo se li inserisci, il profilo (chi sei, nome dell'impresa o dell'associazione, paesi e regione di interesse, parole chiave) e i bandi che salvi; a ogni accesso vengono registrati indirizzo IP e browser, per sicurezza. Non chiediamo codice fiscale, documenti o dati di pagamento.
Finalità e base giuridica: fornirti l'account che chiedi (art. 6, par. 1, lett. b GDPR). I dati sono conservati da Supabase Inc., responsabile del trattamento, su server nell'Unione europea (Francoforte); le email di accesso sono inviate da Supabase per nostro conto. Supabase ha sede negli Stati Uniti: eventuali trasferimenti seguono le garanzie del capo V del GDPR (Data Privacy Framework UE-USA o clausole contrattuali standard).
Conservazione: fino a quando cancelli l'account, cosa che puoi fare da solo in qualsiasi momento dalla pagina dell'account; email, profilo, bandi salvati e registro degli accessi vengono eliminati subito. La sessione resta nella memoria locale del browser (non un cookie), è strettamente necessaria e viene tolta quando esci o cancelli l'account.
